Casual Talk in Mandarin (Oakridge)

The hosts of Richmond Mandarin Meetup are happy to announce that we will alternate between Richmond's Lansdowne Mall and Vancouver's Oakridge Centre weekly for our casual talk sessions.

The casual talk is more of a language exchange. Members are encouraged to learn new words/phrases, ask questions and share ideas. Native Chinese speakers will help us with pinyin, sentence structure and using proper choice of words.

Chinese ESL students are also encouraged to participate. This way both native English and Chinese speakers will be able to learn from each other.

If you have any suggestions or advice, please feel free to contact any of us or just post a comment here. We welcome all levels and we're open for feedback.

Join us for a fun learning session again in Oakridge mall!

Hi Sergei, I don't know if you got the message I attempted last week, so please excuse the possible repeat. If you have time and the interest, SUCCESS is looking for a Mandarin-speaking Canadian (they thought my level was OK, but I'll be out of town) to attend a social event for new immigrants, to take place at the Oakridge Public Library (at Oakridge Mall) on Tuesday, April 9, from about 1pm to 3pm. If you can attend, please call Jane at SUCCESS,[masked]-0901. Thanks, and hope to see you at a future event.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
