Dear Members,
After running the Meetup at the Confucius Institute location for over a year, I have not only had a lot of fun, but also learned a lot about teaching Chinese to people with all different backgrounds. The most important, I have made so many friends from this group. I have truly enjoyed all the sessions and meeting all of you. I am passionate about hosting more and better workshops in the next year. I would also like to hear from you about how to improve them.
As I have mentioned before, these workshops are sponsored by Hanban (National Office of Chinese Language International). It is the sponsorship that has made all the workshops and lessons free for the members. At the end of the year, they need to know the result of these workshops--I have to write a report on what we have done in order to apply for more funding. (Otherwise, if they think this program is not popular enough to run, they might stop paying for it.)
One of the key information they want is what the members think about the workshops. That I cannot do without your help. I would like to ask you, if you had fun and found the workshops useful, to support me and the program by writing a testimonial for me, so the Office knows that I am trying hard to help the local people to learn Mandarin and Chinese culture. The more I get, the more popular I can prove it to be. Of course, the bottom line is only if you truly liked it. As a result, I can get the support from the Office, which is our headquarter.
Your testimonial should be sent to [address removed] and c.c. to [address removed]. The length could be anywhere from 50 words to 200 words or more. Please also leave your full name and email address in the letter, so they know that I didn't make them up. :))
I thank you all in advance. I hope to see you in the upcoming Christmas party on December 7th that is well prepared and fun!

Please Note: If you hit "REPLY", your message will be sent to everyone on this mailing list ([address removed])
