Marin Shakespeare

Our very own Miyoko Schinner is on the board of Marin Shakespeare...They do three shows every summer--two shakespeare and one non-Shakespeare.

First up is the non-shakespeare:

Spanish Tragedy, by Thomas Kyd
The rage of the Elizabethan stage! A passionate story of murder, mayhem, madness and brutality all for the sake of love. This play has been called the inspiration for Shakespeare's "Titus Andronicus" and "Hamlet". It remains a riveting and powerful exploration of the tragic outcomes awakened by revenge.

We will meet for a VEGAN POTLUCK at 7 PM right outside the main gates. Miyoko will be bringing her famous vegan cheese plate! Bring a vegan dish and beverage to share.

You can buy a discounted ticket at the door and save $9.50 (tickets will be $28). Come support our amazing marin shakespeare group, enjoy a lovely vegan potluck, and enjoy the forest meadows amphitheater on the campus of Dominican College. See the website for parking and directions.

Sorry I'm going to miss this but I've been at the Petaluma Rivertown Revival festival (fun!) all afternoon. I had a couple beers and am feeling pretty lazy (and maybe shouldn't be driving).

If a couple people could come about 6:45 and help me set up, I'd appreciate it!!

Afraid my recipe for a vegan potluck isn't going to work. Better luck next time. Enjoy the food and the show.
