I teach environmental education at Ladew Topiary Gardens in Monkton, MD and I am a substitute teacher-naturalist at Marshy Point Nature Center for the Baltimore County Public Schools Outdoor Science Program.

MARA is the Maryland Amphibian and Reptile Atlas project. We are mapping the distribution of herps across the state over the next 4 years. Each county has a coordinator and a procedure is set up to gather the records using observations, photographs, and data sheets. We have a verification team set up to help with uncertain identifications

It would be great if Ladew would participate in the Maryland Amphibian and Reptile Atlas project. Ladew includes the Phoenix NE and the Phoenix CE blocks. Let me know if you would like to participate in this and don't already know how.
