A total disaster. - Midtown east? - 212 is not a good venue for this kind of event. - No 'free' beer - Too many people in small space - couldnt breathe. - 45 min line outside an event I paid for a ticket to? Also there were 2 ticket takers at the door and NOBODY explaining the situation to those on line - No backup plan or alternate space was communicated - No attempt was made to repay me for my ticket price, even though I only was there for 2 minutes. What did I pay for?

Way too crowded for such a small space, which made it extremely uncomfortable at times. Considering there was a $10 cover for the event, having to pay $9 for a beer and $3 per item at the coat check really added insult to injury. People want to drink and loosen up -- prohibitive drink prices just don't make sense for such an event. Rather than free beers for the first 30 minutes there should have been drink specials all night long so that people actually have a reason to stay. The mix of the group of was very marketing and business development oriented. There were people like myself recruiting there, but there wasn't much available talent to be found as far as I can tell. It certainly wasn't clear what I was getting into by going to this event and others felt the same way too. You may want to narrow down the focus of the events and promote it as such, so that people who attend know what they're coming for.
