Helpful to get a feel for the status of mobile and what actual developers are thinking in terms of IOS vs. Android ... native vs. web, etc.

We are looking for a consultant to help us build a mobile version of our website, based on our existing (Perl generated) site at We would want someone comfortable building a site that was standards based (to the extent possible) and based on the existing backend. Daniel Feenberg

Sorry I can't make this meetup- would love to be there. I'm looking for a developer who is familiar with the iOS and Android platforms, as well as bar code scanning libraries who would be available/interested in working on an innovative project with my company. If interested, let me know (glombardo at demandware dot com)

Working on , a specialized eReading solution for developers: great full-text search, GitHub integration, more goodies to come over the next couple of weeks (Android tablets only).
We have all O'Reilly books. So does Kindle... The point is eCarrel will enhance the books for you beyond what Kindle can do!
