Just want to share with you all a great event on mobile security, on May 14th at 6:30 pm next to South Station:

On May 14th Chris Wysopal, CTO of Veracode will talk about mobile app security entitled "Defending Behind the Device: Mobile Application  Risks" The event is hosted by GTUG and Fidelity and the Mass Mobile Developers group is a sponsor.

We will also have a couple of developers demonstrate live device  exploits.

This link will provide further information

Mobile security is important to the mobile developer community because  data breaches can be a big setback to the app company and the developer community. Developers need to anticipate exploits and privacy issues while building apps. For example, Pandora, temporarily suspended all advertising and advertising revenues when they found that a third party library used by the Pandora app was reporting private and personal information to the mobile advertisers.
