The Geometry of Spacetime and Standford's Machine Learning Course

We're currently studying 'The Geometry of Spacetime' by James Callahan and the Stanford Machine Learning course.  There will be no schedule to when we read which chapters, and people should feel free to drop in weeks after we've started and catch up (or not catch up, and just read at your own pace in our company). If you get behind a few meetings or are just starting, we'll be glad to answer questions and explain things, even if we've moved onto another book.

 

'The Geometry of Spacetime' does not need to be purchased since we will have extra copies. If you want to purchase your own copy (the hardcover is paradoxically cheaper), you can find it here:
