MDOG ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

MDOG will be holding our 2010 Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, June 8th from 7-8pm at the Mahoney Recreation Center, 110 Cedar St, Manchester.  The meeting will give members an opportunity to meet existing and potential board members, vote for officers and by-law changes, and ask questions about the organization and it's activities.
 
MDOG is currently holding elections for the following positions:
President
Vice-President
Treasurer
Secretary
3 - Member at Large
The nomination process is self-nomination, no one may nominate you other than yourself.  Members intersted in running for a position must notify [address removed] by Friday, June 4th at 6pm.  Officers must be available to attend the majority of board meetings as well as MDOG events/activities.  All members of the Board of DIrectors must be a current MDOG member. 
 
Additional MDOG Board positions are appointed by existing members of the Board of Directors.  Appointed Board Members must either attend board meetings or submit an official report to the Secretary to be submitted into Board meeting minutes.
Board appointed open positions are:
Membership Secretary -
    Works with MDOG Secretary to track memberships and renewals.  Works with Events Committee to run                     Membership drives.  All other duties to be determined by the Board of Directors.
 
Education Committee Chair -
    Works to develop a plan for MDOG's mission of educating the public (distribution material, information tables,             classes/seminars, hikes, etc).  Works with volunteer secretary to educate volunteers prior to events/activities.  Works     with events committee to organize above said cleasses/seminars, hikes, etc.  All other duties to be determined by the     Board of Directors.
 
Volunteer Secretary -
    Works with all committees and the Board of Directors to determine the needs for volunteers at all MDOG                     events/activities.  Maintains a list of past and current volunteers including all contact information.  Maintains all             volunteer waivers and necessity for volunteer uniform based on volunteers past and current history.  All other duties     to be determined by the Board of Directors.
 
Events Committee Chiar -
    Run monthly Event Committee meetings.  Work with Board of Directors, Volunteers Secretary, and Education             Committee Chair to assist in organizing all events/activities.  All other duties to be determined by the Board of                 Directors.
