A great deal from Spring Lake Farm. This time we are only selling in large quantities. If you can't handle 26-60 lbs on your own, use our message boards to help find someone to share a share with and then you guys can negotiate parts and pricing on your own. I did this last year before I bought my freezer. This is a great chance to try all kinds of lamb cuts since you get a whole lamb! The lambs are this many lbs each, pick one
26 sold to Jay
28 sold to Greg
34 sold to Melissa
37sold to Marina
39sold to meeses

Please indicate in RSVP which one you want. $147 deposit covers the first 26 lbs at $5.50, plus $4 admin fees for this meetup (I have to pay monthly to host this club on Meetup.com). The rest should be brought in cash when you come to pick the lamb up. The lambs are cryovacked and frozen with a USDA stamp on the label and weight of each cut and the name of the cut. This is the best way to freeze meat and means that the meat is higher quality when thawed than meat frozen in paper.

Each lamb:
2 legs of lamb.
5 packages of ground meat.
1 package of liver.
2 packages of lamb breast riblets.
1 package of 2 lamb shanks.
3 packages of approx. 11- 12 rib chops.
6 packages of shoulder chops 2 to a package.
1 packages neck shoulder slices.
4 packages of loin chops. 4 to a package.
1 package of kidney heart & tongue. More info about this farm

I updated the cut list on this page. Farmer informed me weights are hanging weights, so final weight will be smaller. Each cut will have a weight printed on it.

Are these lambs 5.50 live weight, hanging weight or packaged weight?

Sure, Nicholas. Do you want to include anyone else? It's a large lamb. Also, how does this work for payment?

I just put in for the 51lb lamb. Sarah, please let me know if you would like to share.

I am interested in a small lamb, or in sharing a lamb with someone.

I would definitely need to share a lamb with somebody. Anybody interested in sharing the 37-pound lamb?

Hey Jay and Nicholas- I'll ask the farmer and get back to you.

Melissa, can we assume that the cuts will be pretty much standard, or would it be possible to get a list from the farmer/butcher? That info would be super helpful in pro-rating the pricing for those looking to split their shares.

Is everything individual cut? is the rack a full rack?
