I just spoke with our wonderful Spring Lake Farmers, Ingi & Temma.
They are bringing in 3 pigs and would like to know if anyone would like to purchase a whole or half pig themselves. Cost is $2.75/lb hanging weight, $45 slaughter fee, $0.80/lb butchering fee, plus $1/lb for smoking, sausage & slicing fees. Price will come out to $4-5/lb finished weight depending on your preferences.
