Location change: Meditation in the Portrait Galley in CHina town

Dear meditators,

Today is grey and rainy, and we can't take the risk of being soaked during our time together. It would have been so wonderful to meet in the Moongate Garden (by the Smithsonian Castle), but we have to change the location to the National Portrait Gallery.

We will go through a overview of meditation techniques and will do chakra meditation together.

Below is the initial message:

Hidden away in the Enid A. Haupf Gardens between the Sackler Gallery and Smithsonian Castle, the Moongate Garden is a small oasis of calm. It’s inspired by the much larger Temple of Heaven Garden, a Ming Dynasty [masked]) landscape in Beijing.
The centerpiece is a black granite pool with a small pink granite island and walkways. At two of the corners are round granite moongates.

We had several meetups there in the past few summers.
Since this meetup is most likely the last one I am organizing, I would like to meet you once more in this very special and beautiful place.

Let’s get together and connect with Mother Earth and Father Sky, and empower one another through the flow of collective energy we will generate.

For the ones of you who missed our last meetup, I will bring again with me my latest book, Focused on Spirit (available here: and will give you an overview of the meditation techniques that are part of it.

With joy and gratitude, looking forward to see you on Thursday, August 1st, at 6pm

Easy to get to if you work downtown! Laura always does a great job of creating a peaceful, sacred space so that we naturally flow into the meditation.
