This is a chance to spend a weekend in meditation and contemplation with a most inspiring Sufi teacher. Pir Zia Inayat-Khan is the grandson and spiritual heir of Hazrat Inayat Khan, who brought Sufism to the West from India in 1910. Pir Zia is the spiritual leader of the Sufi Order International.
The weekend will explore Sufi teachings, meditations, and practices: What would it mean to think, speak, and act from the heart and soul? How would such an orientation affect our way of life, our relationships, our perceptions and emotions-and our identity itself? Beneath the surface of the mind are deeper faculties of feeling and knowing. To awaken this subtle physiology and spiritual perception is to behold the world with fresh vision and renewed purpose.
Weekend tuition $195 through Oct. 19, $225 thereafter. Students and young adults under 30: $40 through Oct. 19, then $50. Limited scholarships available. Includes Friday evening talk, Saturday's Kirtan and full program Saturday 9:30 to 5:30 and Sunday 9:30 to 4.
