Subject: [meditation-200] Re:Our Last Meditation Meetup at CSL: All Good Things......

Hi there, I know its short notice but it's as much a surprise to me as it is to you. The wonderful venue where we have hosted our meditation meetup for the last 6 years has a change in priorities for their space. At the same time, I now have  a growing family with 2 small children and a  business that continues to expand, both requiring more and more of my time and focus. The confluence of these factors is ushering me to take a sabbatical from teaching for a period of time (I'm sure it won't be too long as I love meditating with you all and it's a huge part of my life) As we wind things down at The center I want to take this opportunity to thank YOU for your participation and involvement in this group because your individual energy and committment to go deeper, know yourself more intimately and share that with the other members of this group has made it what it is today. The inspiration for this group started 6 years ago after attending a teachers retreat with Deepak Chopra . the topic at the time was "Be the change" and people were asking how we could create more peace in the world in the light of the fac that the Al Quaida terror cells were still creating mayhem around the globe. He invited to go back to our communities and create "peace cells" . So thats what i did. I put a flag in the sand and an intention to just be able to mediate with a few like minded people. 331 weekly meetings and over a over a thousand meditation students later, sharing the gift of mediation at with you all has changed my life in somany ways and theres much to be grateful for.  My hope is that you received as much benefit in attending the group as I have leading it. So what's next? Well we have a great group of committed meditators here , and margaret mead once said "never doubt that a small group of committed individuals can change the world, in fact it's the only thing that ever has". So i invite you to keep meditating. To support you going forward , the weekly meditations will be moving to Mondays in Cambell and joing up with the Campbell Meditation Meetup. Greg deVries hosts that meetup and does an amazing job. Greg came to one of my meet ups 5 years ago and was inspired to start that group and many of you go to both our groups. So Be on the lookout for weekly reminders from me directing you to Greg's monday meetups. Thanks again for your participation in the group and join us for this weeks farewell meditation on Thursday at 7:00PM if you can. This message will be posted on the message board so feel free to comment if you like Namaste, Brett Jennings [masked]
