Meditation is the heart, the core practice of Eastern spiritual paths. The emphasis in this
class will be towards using meditation in everyday life.
Meditation is not a miracle, it is a method. With meditation we can gradually have a more
meaningful, peaceful, less stressful life.
A regular meditation practice can help us have less doubt, anxiety and worry, no matter our
work, or lack of work, no matter our relationships, or life or family situations. It isn’t that
problems go away, or that we will not have new ones, it is that we will learn to see them differently.
In this intro class you will learn the basic psychology of meditation in an inter-faith way and
practice different techniques so you can fi nd one that feels right for you.
About the teacher
Robert Bernstein is a certified Meditation teacher, Integral Yoga Institute,
New York. He has been associated with IYI since 1974. He has
been leading Satsangs, Meditation and various other classes on an
Eastern psychological - spiritual approach to everyday living for
the past 15 years.
