Sit. Relax. Meditate. Awaken to Joy.
Are you interested in learning meditation, starting a practice, or reinvigorating your commitment to sit? Come to a new offering on Monday evening from 6:30-7:30 PM in a beautiful Tibetan Buddhist Center in Freeport. The session are held weekly and you are warmly welcome to come try out a session to see if this is a good fit. You may choose to drop in, sign up for a month, or create a three month plan. The more frequently you practice, the more immediately you gain benefits.
We will be meeting every week through the middle of June. The price of the four week class is $25, or $8 per session for those who wish to drop in.
This is a great opportunity to spend time creating and developing a meditation practice built on calm abiding of breath, analytical meditation, and wisdom.
Our teacher, Lisa V. Blake, has taught hundreds of students in the art of meditation. She is the founder of the Maine Mindfulness Project, and has been actively involved in the Siddhartha School in India, both teaching in India and currently servicing on its board in Maine. A practicing Buddhist in the Mahayan Gelugpa tradition, she has studied extensively for over a decade with her root teacher Kachen Khen Rinpoche Lobzang Tsetan and His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama.
Lisa brings a loving presence and evolved wisdom to her teaching, and I think you'll find her instruction to be clear and inspiring.
