Humans have an inbuilt tendency towards addiction, and the Buddhist teachings can be applied to help bring about sobriety of mind, self compassion and abstinence. This retreat will offer some simple meditative tools, and an understanding of addiction that will hopefully help us go back out into the world better equipped to deal with the triggers that can onset a slip or a relapse. There will also be opportunity to ask questions.
