Tara Brach: "Trusting who we are."

From: TomC
Sent on: Sunday, October 31, 2010 11:51 AM
This is our weekly meetup, in which we will be listening to a pre-recorded talk by seasoned meditation teacher and world-wide lecturer Tara Brach, entitled "Trusting who we are." Here's her talk description from the dharmaseed.org site: "If we investigate, we will find that much suffering arises out of mistrust--of ourselves, others and life. This talk explores the genesis of the great challenges of doubt and mistrust, and the pathway to trusting the goodness that is our essence."

Also included will be a short meditation and a time to set intentions for the coming week. Please join us in mindful community as we seek to bring more awareness, wisdom and compassion into our lives and into the world. We'd love to have your join us.

When: Monday, November 1,[masked]:00 PM

Where: First Parish Unitarian Universilist Church
425 Congress St
Portland, ME 04101

Price: $3.00 donation
