Mindfulness is a wonderful tool to bring to our parenting. It helps us to understand our children in a new light, to see that some of the dynamics in our relationship with them are due to our own issues - our mood, our fears, our own childhood. With mindfulness we can open to some of these factors and build stronger relationships with our kids, be more effective parents, and grow in our own awareness.
