My name is AjahnSarayut Arnanta,a theravada Buddhist monk,a meditation master from Thailand.I have been living in Tucson for over 10 years.I have been practicing meditation since I was 15. Come & join our group for the spiritual seeking.
Do you meditate yet?
If you never meditate before this meeting will help you to learn how to meditate, Arjahnsarayut will guide you how to do that at the meeting. It is absolutely OK even you don't know how to calm your thought (mind). For person who practice meditation in regular basis you will find this meeting is very helpful to expand your meditation experience with others.
You sit, but do you know why you sit?

RE: Please explain more about your meditative ways
I thought there would be more of an introductory welcome for new-comers last night; but there wasn't. I need more information to better understand what was done during meditation like the slow walk, and why it was done to better comply next time.
Thank you for your input.

I am a member of the Dharma Flower Buddhist Temple; but I'm always seeking to find new ways of meditation. I practice holistic healing and I encourage others to do the same as opposed to seeking Western Medicine for treatment vs. cure.
In addition to meditation; do you also practice holistic remedies?
It will be a plessure to me to meet you and talk to you, is veru nice and interesting to meet people like you, from which you can learn new things and learn about meditation. I never meditate but Im very interesting to learn and begin to feel better.
my name is Vladimir, I live in Calgary, Canada. I am planning a personal retreat for two months in winter.
I know, your center doesn't provide retreats, but I would just like to come to the center for daily practice. Do you think it would be possible?
Also, I was wondering if you could give me an advice (if it is not too much to ask) on what direction I should start looking for a modest accomodation close to your center?
Thanks so much.
Ajahn, hello, my not wanting to return to that class is NO reflection on you or your temple. I LOVE your temple! I feel very at home there and will return there.. I have a book of yours and I want to walk the grounds and maybe do some meditation there. I practice qigong and am looking for a more advanced class. Thank you so much for your time and attention.. I will see you when I return to the temple.. I look forward to it! be well, Michelle
My name is Valerie. I used to study Joseph Goldstein and Jack Kornfield at Naropa Institute in the 70's. We all did Tai Chi then. I have forgotten the movements and not even sure my knees can do it but I'm anxious to try. My 79 year old dad is studying tai chi in Florida.
I am very sorry that I cannot be there tonight, but I will be there next week.
It is very nice to hear from you. Just by following up with me I feel I am awaken. You are so special to us and you are doing the right thing due to your self-confience, and caring others. I believe I have found you and the temple because God give me what I need for my life. In return, I am looking forward to hearing from you in regard of the project I have offered you to help your community.
We are here to help each other, regardless race, origin, genre, religion.
