Hi Folks, I'll be hosting Jelly this week.
We've had some suggestions of alternative venues. How does 1000 Pound Bend sound? (http://thousandpoundbend.com.au...). I haven't contacted them yet - so not sure if they can accommodate us. But let me know if that sounds interesting (and you'd still come) and I'll switch the venue.

1000 pound bend sounds good to me. It means one less train change!
1000 Pound Bend sounds good to me too. I haven't been there yet but judging from its website it looks like a nice space.
Hi, I'm going to postpone the venue change until the next Jelly. I spoke to a few people at the WordPress meetup this evening and got mixed responses. I've never been to 1000PB myself - so its a bit risky - especially considering we all need stable internet. I'm going to organize a Telstra 4G dongle as a backup - so we'll be good to go next time. See you all at I9.
I can't make it tomorrow, but last time I went to £1000PB the Wifi was good. You do only have a few power points though. Food is great, as is the coffee, and the staff are generally friendly.
There's a fair amount of table space, but it's a popular venue so space might be limited. There's more space in the gallery and upstairs, but not many tables there.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
