Welcome Ladies...........................

This is a fantastic group to join for anyone who is looking to meet new people, try new activities, expand their social circle and make new friends. The aim of this Meetup group is to socialize and meet other women around our ages. We're all in our 20's (some in our 30s) and we're all female, so we all have things in common.

Common stories that are heard at Meetups include: ‘I’ve just moved to Melbourne and hardly know anyone’ ‘All my friends have hibernated into relationships / children’ and ‘I just want to try new things and meet new people’. In a big city, it is hard for females to meet new friends, as everyone seems to be in established groups. If you are thinking any of these, this is the group for you.

Each month there are 3 regular events (Meetups). They are: movie meetups (members vote in a poll what to see), a book club (a different member chooses a book each month) and a dinner out (feel free to suggest a restaurant / bar).
On top of this, there are more ‘seasonal events’ which in the past have included: Pub Crawls, Cocktail Nights, Themed Events / Balls, Moonlight Theatre, Race Days, trips to the Zoo etc.

If you don't like any of the events, or you have an idea for an event, please post it as an idea in the ideas section on the top of this page, to see if others are interested. If enough people are interested, we will make that an event.
