Morrissey. Festy Hall, Wed Dec 19th, $100

How could you not go and see the old geezer? Morrissey's lyrics have been described as "dramatic, bleak, funny vignettes about doomed relationships, lonely nightclubs, the burden of the past and the prison of the home."[4] He is also noted for his unusual baritone vocal style (though he sometimes uses falsetto),[5] his quiff haircut and his dynamic live performances. His forthright and often contrarian opinions have led to a number of media controversies, and he has also attracted media attention for his advocacy of vegetarianism and animal rights

Hey. I was 99 percent sure I was going to be on the guest list for this gig but it fell through in the end. I was really looking forward to it!! Hope you all have a great night. See you soon..

    How was the concert?Any anti-carnivore rantings/outbursts....?
Had to settle for E.Dando/Juliana Hatfield instead, not too bad..

Glad you liked it,Moz´s last few albums have been quite consistent IMO.Dando/Hatfield felt like a 90`s timecapsule :)...the nostalgia...some old(late 80´s) Lemonheads punk too,

No "anti-carnivore" rants at all. In fact I think the only reference he possibly made to carnivores was when he mentioned the animals in Melbourne Zoo and said he was thinking of them.

Also wanted to say sorry for not meeting the group, the concert was great. With all their lineup changes, I guess at least the guitarist and bassist have been with the band for 8 or more years.

I grabbed general entry tix immediately after tix went on sale. Can't wait to see a bit of anti Royal, anti Meat Moz action!

    Hi All,

I'n not sure of the pubs around Festy Hall. My vote is that we meet at the Woolshed in Docklands(www.woolshedpub.com) . Its about a 10min walk to the venue. The running times for the gig are: Doors 7.00PM; Support 8.00PM; Main Act 9.00PM; Finish 10.30PM. I will be at the Woolshed at 7pm. Mike

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
