This summer, a vacant lot in Southbank becomes your backyard – that is, if your backyard is home to some of the biggest names in Australian and international indie, electro and soul music. Astroturf and street art, deck-chairs and DJs, flowers and funk. This is the place to spend warm summer evenings.
The Garden Party is the outdoor music festival with a difference. Join us in the Garden for drinks, great food and the simple pleasure of hearing and seeing great acts on the stage.
Graveyard Train know how to put on a potently foot-stomping and spooky set. With lyrics that conjure up werewolves, vampires and ghosts, this 6-piece revels in the humorous side of the macabre. Banjos, dobros, as well as their untraditional hammer and chain contribute to a rich, genre-defying sound that has earned them a veritable zombie-army of rabid fans.
"Watching them conjures the same kind of kick you might get from hearing ghost stories, but with added visceral grunt, masses have rightfully gone bananas for them." - Steph Hughs (Triple J)
