One of the difficult things of being new in town is knowing where to find things, e.g: Where is the closest doctor/dentist in my suburb? How do I buy public transport tickets (and what's this stupid validation crap?) Can someone recommend a nice restaurant to take someone on a date?
One forum I've found useful for these questions is the Melbourne Maniac community on LiveJournal.?
Of course you need to be a LiveJournal user to access this forum but it's an active community and these types of questions normally get a helpful response within a few hours of posting.???
