LOCOMOTIVE RADIO TRANSMISSIONS – Director Oliver Toleman – 9 mins
Unusual VCA student doc about the use of psychodrama to help a man deal with his fear of death and being buried alive.

IMPACT – Director David Swann – 6 mins
Powerful Australian mini-doc about the emotional impact of fatal road accidents on the victim's families and friends.

SUNBURN – Director Dave Arnold – 2 mins
British multi-media performance artist, Dave Arnold, sends this message to sun-worshipping Aussies about the dangers of too much UV.

WALKMAN: TRAILER – Director Zev Howey – 1 min
William, a lonely guy in his 50s, clutches to life in the 1980s via his Walkman - the only tangible connection to a fast-receding past. Will he drown in disconnection before someone finally listens?

ARRIVAL: WESTERN DIGITAL PROMO – Director Joshua Hoareau – 1 min
Produced while making his eponymous Sci-Fi short, this was an informal ‘thank you’ to the company that donated post-production hardware. First (and only) public screening.

GOING SOMEWHERE – Director Simon Hill – 5 mins
British animation about how life is both precious and commonplace.

WITHIN – Director Christopher Kay – 10 mins
In this tense horror short, a man believes he is being psychologically tortured by a malign entity that has invaded his house. Apart from Dylan Stipe who wrote the music, this was a completely solo effort by the director who was also played the lead role.

BICYCLES & PICKLES – Director Stephanie Lou Hauge – 45 seconds
Boy meets girl meets pickle.

DANS L’OMBRE – Director Fabrice Mathieu – 8 mins
Original and superbly executed French short about the life of a film noir shadow that manages to free itself from its flesh and bone ‘Wearer’. The director sourced clips from 56 classic B/W thrillers and combined them to create an original story with the shadow character added to each scene (subtitles).

STILL GREY – Director Robert Jarvis – 3 mins
Music video from Final Cut VJ, Atom Bob, promoting a track from Agnes Kain’s new album.

ARRIVAL – Director Joshua Hoareau – 10 mins
Currently in IMDB’s top-10 short films list and already nominated for a slew of awards, this new Sci-Fi thriller from Melbourne director, Hoareau tells the story of two bothers who find a mysterious object fallen from the sky that changes their lives forever.
