Hey Gail! Please keep in touch with the group if you decide to move this way. Boulder is definitely more vegan friendly than Chicago in my opinion. There are only a few restaurants that are solidly veg, but nearly every restaurant in town has vegan options. Plus there are 4 Whole Foods, a Sunflower Market, a Vitamin Cottage, and a Sprouts farmers market. And of course there is the vegan meetup, which is always a lot of fun.
