Thanks for joining The Art of Mindfulness group. You asked, "Why does it sometimes seem easier to be unhappy than it is to be content?" That's a question that needs some unpacking. A quick response would be it comes down to 2 things:
1) Our brain.that strange and wondrous organ. Because of our older more primitive brain we weigh negative things more heavily than positive things. A sort of 8/2 ratio.
2) We tend to overlook or discount the everyday blessings of our lives.
