Hey Nancy,
I plan on posting some training runs in the next weeks both during the weekdays and weekend.

Hey Nancy,
I got your message. Will plan to see you at 7:15. I've emailed Kem already so looks like we're set to go! See you Sunday :)
Nancy,
How are your preparations coming along? I'll running the Rucky Chucky 50 km, the weekend after the Way Too Cool. This event is supposed to be a smaller group of runners bound for Western States, so I'll be in the company of some serious athletes. I'll be on the unofficial Way Too Cool run this weekend and I expect to see you out on the trails! Glad you'll be in the WTC.
Hi Nancy -
I am doing well, thanks for asking. I just got the okay to start running last week, my first time since SNER. I've run 3-4 times, 2-3 miles each time. So far very little pain, so I am optimistic that I'll be back on the trails soon.
The book I was mentioning was:
Ultramarathon Man: Confessions of an All-Night Runner
I really enjoyed the book. Some people say Dean is an Ego-maniac, and they may be right, but the book is a good read
Have fun Nancy, I have been running closer to home weeknights and in the hills weekends
Yes you can and ready ! hope to see u and maybe Kamran too on day 2!! Come'on out! Think from the End ;>)
Running Clementine would be fun. We could start at the river confluence at hwy 49 and the trail winds along the river and up towards Clementine lake. I haven't been on that trail in a long time; used to mtn bike it. I will go ahead and put it on the board to generate some interest. Great idea!
Nancy...you can email me directly at [masked]

Hey...what are you doing tomorrow? I'm leading a group of about 15 snowshoeing up near Kirkwood. Why don't you join us? Guaranteed to be a blast with all the new snow up there! Check it out here: http://www.meetup.com/Sacramento-Hiki...![]()
Hope you can join us...Michael
Nancy...I think a weekly workout on Wednesdays is a great idea. Since it's a weekday, the earlier we schedule it, the more people will be able to come. But, 8:15 works for me. If you can get it on the calendar as a weekly event, we can mix it up, doing speed work, such as tempo runs and fartleks, as well as hill workouts. If you read the articles that I sent you the links to, you should have a good understanding of how to do hill repeats, but I can go over it with you next Wed.
