Born in Marietta GA. Raised in Charlotte, NC. Offered Morehead Scholarship to UNC at age 14 by Kenneth England (turned it down). Married in 1982 to Kathy Stratton. We have 10 children. Family attacked in 2001 by child trafficking criminal enterprise.
