It would be fun to plan something. I have had some personal things taking over my life recently, but would like to plan some activities. Breakfast or a movie sounds great. I am busy the weekend of may 6, but free the following weekend. maybe we can plan something for that Saturday. Let me know what you think...

So happy to have you join the group. It's funny, I was not quite expecting so many people to join already but am glad to see that everyone is using this site. I look forward to meeting you soon. If you have any good ideas for events, I am fairly new to the area, so looking to get event ideas from those who know the area. Maybe you and Leslie and I can get together to chat about things if you cannot make it on Thursday either.

ting to see how this one works. No takers thus far for Little Bit of Everything...go figure. LOL -
We just started meeting in October last year and are a very small group. Houma is quite a bit smaller than BR so we are doing good to get together a couple of times a month at this point, at least officially. Sometimes a couple of us will get together to make a yarn run to the city(New Orleans or Thibodaux) or work on projects together. There is definitely room for more things to happen. I am doing some community organizing and teaching on some other topics too. I look forward to meeting you.
