Thank you for letting me know! Late March or April will be perfect for me. I am really looking forward to it.
Nice to meet you as well! I would love to know what tree that leaf came from. If it is Paw-Paw, it might be worth going back and see if there is a grove (I am horrible with bark identification). I will be very busy early in March so I hope it is later in the month as I would love to go.
Deb, I've been in touch w Gerald Klingaman at the Gardens, and he says he'd be willing to do a hike with us next spring -- late March or first week of April -- to ID wildflowers, trees & ferns. Kind of a botanizing hike. Cool hey? GK says he's good friends w you and Doug.
Books can be nicely balanced with a finely balanced wine, say a summer's end dry chenin blanc (found one I can recommend)!
Deb, there's another wine meeting coming up. Tell Doug that all hike and no wine make a dull boy / girl!
Next time let's try biking and wining? Reviews can be done on the move. No salmon, please, or cheese.
Welcome to the group Deborah! So great to see you again...
Yeah, I hurt myself in so many ways that night, more ways than I care to admit :)
Deborah, I really did strain a muscle after singing with you and that laughing episode. I guess I could say all that laughing was a great workout for my tummy :)
