  Hi Tracy, I just read why you cant come to my backpack trip, hope it is nothing serious. I am amused that my wife grew up in Merced, she graduated Merced high in 68. Hope to see you on one of my hikes, look for Salt creek in October!

  That is disappointing that you won't be participating. There are 4-6 additional people participating that are not associated with the Meetup. Our tours are promoted through many sources because we are a non-profit organization. Maybe you can convince your boyfriend to come along. We will probably have roughly 8-10 participants in total, which includes children.
