  Hi Anne,
  In my experience, if you're an organizer or assistant organizer for one group, creating another one is pretty easy. For example, my most recent group I started is less than two weeks old, but it's already filling up and ready for it's second meeting. All you need is 3 or 4 reliable people to RSVP, and then all the looky-loos will jump in. make sure that only organizers have the ability to send anything through the mailing list.
