  Hi Alina, Welcome to the UME!

  A friend of mine hosts a monthly event called The No Name Uptown Cabaret. It is held on the first Monday of the month at the Indian Road Cafe on 218th street. It's about three blocks west of Broadway, next to Inwood Hill Park. It's basically an open mike event. A lot of musical theater people come to try out new stuff. I've been there a few times and enjoyed it. Let me know if you are interested.
