  We were at Waikiki beach area for a week there but we were too busy doing other activities and at the beach the last day of our trip.

  According to learning Thai, you should contact Thip as she will teach adult group every Sunday at 1.30PM. I take my son to learn Thai on Sunday at the Wat too.

  Hi Lynne,

  Thailand is very friendly and touristy. My first visit in spent some time in BKK, but also went to Chiang Mai. I was typical tourist. Joined tours in Chiang Mai every day for 5 days. I stayed at GH (guest houses) in Chiang Mai and BKK. I stayed near Khao San Rd in BKK. This is major destination for backpackers and also large shopping area. It is very close to Wat Po and the presidential palace (walking distance about 1.5 miles). Best way to travel is by boat in BKK.

  When my wife and I have available time together, we either spend time at Wat Buddhajakramongkolratanaram in Escondido and/or Wat Mettavanaram in Valley Center.
