  •  Hi Jane, I'm really sorry but I'm not going to be able to do the surfing on sat anymore, I've noticed that someone else who is going is offereing lifts from Edinburgh so that would probably suit you better anyway. Hopefully see you soon

  •  Hi Jane,

sorry I sort of abandoned you earlier - I got the impression things were petering out a bit, and it was not long till the museums closed anyway - hope the rest of the visit went ok.

These are the satellite photo links to add to yr collection:

they may be of use too, in conjunction with the met office charts. They confirm that we got lots of weather today :)

  •  hi again,

I was thinking of the main hall of the old museum, Chambers st - it's a nice space to meet in anyway, and the cafe Delos is right there - just a thought since museums are a rainy day thing :)

  •  Hi Jane,

thanks again for the Botanics outing - I'd have missed the bamboo music otherwise.

the BBC got it totally wrong - though the met office chart is pretty clear - and sadly it looks like this for tomorrow too (i.e. still wet) so maybe a plan B might be useful - e.g. the museums are not too far away - with a nice cafe too :)
