"It is a greet networking opportunity. You get to meet people of like minded interests. It gives you an opportunity to meet professionals in the industry that you otherwise would never come across. If you are a filmmaker, you can show your films. There is no politics or red tape involved. I just finished a filmmaking workshop. I never would have learned about it but for this meet up. The people are friendly and warm. It doesn't have that snobiness like some events."
