  • “ Hey Art! Right now the tesla committee is still doing ground work, in the near future we will need a lot of help. At the moment we are writing and sending letters. We're going to send out info on the different committees and tasks we need to complete. The SEC meetup is now going to start meeting at the tree house coffee shop in audubon. I'm going to post next meeting very soon. Doing great btw. You still moving to philly? ”

  • “ hi Art -- sorry, I thought you were asking about the Monday night Open Mic at DOWNEY'S. The Tuesday night Open Mic at GET HAPPY PUB is a similar situation, a parent should be there, but we set-up the Open Mic there more in a "comfy table setting" so it may even be a more friendly setting for bringing your daughters, and I highly recommend it. Ashid is right, last Tuesday night was very positive and supportive. Last Tuesday a father brought his 2 boys who play guitar & sing, and it was great! ”

    Thank you for asking about under age performers. Since DOWNEY'S Monday Open Mic is held in the bar area, any under 21s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

    Several under 21s have come by with a parent and performed marvelously. For example there is a talented 19 year old female singer who comes in regularly with her father who also plays a mean guitar.

    You are welcome to bring your daughters, and we trust it as a parental decision. I hope that helps! ”
