I agree that there are many unnecessary customs to some meditation practices used for religious or other reasons. I also realize that the teachings are limited to that tradition & therefore I am not taught things that may help me because my teachers were either not taught them or feel that are irrelevant because they dot fit into their tradition.
I have customized my practice, and I look forward meeting you & getting some new ideas that may help my meditation practice.
