  •  Hola! What have you been doing lately? Are you still attending the Meetups? I have been busy, so I have not been able to attend. Next month I plan to travel to Dominican Republic. Unfortunately, I will not bring my expensive photography equipment. Just a small point and shoot. If someone steals that, I won't feel so bad. Bueno, hasta pronto!

  •  Welcome to our group of artists and artists in development (some in arrested development).

Love what I see in your photo log thus far.

  •  Yes, I did get your last shout. I don't see here either.
Today I am going to be running around Chinatown with my camera.

  •  I think that the Meetups are great because there is a beauty of the discovery of meeting people of different backgrounds but same interests. Otherwise, how would we meet? This city is packed full of people but if you watch them walk by, most of them are lonely. Lonely, collectively.
What kind of work do you do?

  •  There is a book written about different graffiti/sticke r artists from around the world. There are some really beautiful graffiti/sticke r art around the city. My photo is an example, in my opinion.
In recent weeks, I have been curious about Chomsky. Now I will act upon it. I will sign up and see what this group will be like. It will be interesting to see what type of people will be there.

  •  Your son is toooo cute! Do you live on the UES?

    Jennifer (May 28, 2008 9:39 AM)
  •  No, that is mine! Not from S-Head bathroom or my bathroom. I love graffiti, but the kind that is called 'sticker art'. No one would ever believe that I have such great appreciation for this kind of art. I see on your profile you are part of Noam Chomsky + Anarcho-Syndicalism Meetup. Please excuse my ignorance, what does this group do?

  •  Welcome Jaime! I hope you will enjoy this Meetup too.

  •  Hi Jaime! It was a pleasure meeting you. It was a lot of fun last night hanging out with the group. Especially when we all tried to cram as many people as possible in a photo booth. Silly, but fun! Next time you must stay for longer.

  •  thanks and sounds good. lets see what we come up with. cameras and flash sound super but don't know if i can actually provide much worth shooting :)

  •  That board brand new is about 380-400 at atlanticbeach surfshop - these boards are not very resistant because they are glassed lightly and are not meant to last a long time. seeing how this board is 8 years old you should take a close look at delamination etc. also they ding easily

a used board bag also on craigs list is going for 40 bucks right now.

all that said its hard to go wrong with a 9 foot longoard with bag for 300. tempting offer. i say pull the trigger if its in good shape
