Newbies and hardcore Browncoats welcome!
We are fans of the short lived Firefly TV show and of the Firefly movie called Serenity.
We have several specific events we host each year, including our yearly Browncoat party at Capricon in February, and hopefully continued Serenity screenings in June to raise money for Equality Now.

The location is set for Glen Ellyn simply because that city seems to be about halfway between I-55 and I-90 along I-355 (which I consider to be the western burbs). Actual meeting locations will move around based on member suggestions and attendance.
