- Pictured Rocks
- August 28- Sept 1 (give or take a day)
- I'm planning to drive up to a park just on the other side of the Mackinaw Bridge on Thursday night, get there a pitch a tent before dark, then the next day finish the drive to pictured rocks and do a couple loop trails, with 2 nights backpacking in.
- Backcountry sites are $5 per person, per night (2).

Of course we will show you how to belay! It's our lives we put in your hands after all... Seriously, the first time you go they give you a little lesson how to tie in and belay. They charge something for that but you get a free pass for the second time (don't know how much, never did it...).
