Hi Mary! welcome to Girlfriendz:) feel free to look around the site and check out our photos it will give you an idea of the events we host. We look forward to meeting you soon ~ inga
Thank you for your email and I enjoyed meeting you as well. I vary the days I hike based on the weather but I will take into consideration your preference for later hikes on Sunday. My next scheduled hike is May 12 at 10am, which is on a Saturday. I haven't decided if I will post anything before then. I look forward to seeing you on the trail again sometime soon.
Directions to Englewood South: Go north on Rt. 48 (Main St) toward Meijer. Pass Meijer and Tim Hortons. Turn right on Rt. 40 and cross over the Englewood Dam. Go beyond dam to first traffic light and turn right on Frederick Pike. Go right at "V" intersection onto Meeker. The parking lot will be abut a mile or 2 further on the right. Not a big sign, so may be easy to miss. If you get the the underpass you've gone to far.
Mary, thanks for letting me know why you weren't there. I'm glad you didn't get lost or have a flat tire or something like that. See you when you can make it. -Lindy
Mary, For Thursday's hike, you will want to go to the north entrance of Possum Creek, more on the Trotwood side of the park rather than the Germantown side. The entrance is on Frytown Rd.
