“ I have a black Cocker Spaniel, a Golden/Collie and something with long leg mix, a Golden/Sheltie mix, and the newest is (what I think) a Schnauzer/Deerh
ound mix - although she is 35 pounds and Deerhounds are generally 70 lbs. She came from the deep south - Mississippi - same place as our golden/sheltie and we don't know how life was before she came into the pack. “ I have 4 adopted shelter dogs, one that was in a Mississippi shelter for 5 years that we picked up the weekend after this past Thanksgiving. I am sure a couple of my dogs would love to play and I'd like to integrate the new one. She's an absolute gem. I'm also working on a pet photo project for my artist's portfolio and hoping to find pet owners to volunteer their pets as subjects by making connections here. You can only take so many photos of your own pets. I look forward to the group posts! ”

“ Thanks! She will be nine weeks on Thursday. She has become such a wonderful addition to our family. The kids are thrilled to own their very first dog and my DH and I haven't had a dog in seven years so, she's spoiled to death! I am going to wait until she is 12wks old to join her in the fun of get togethers w/ other dogs...so kep me updated w/ future meetings! Thanks for the greet! ”
