  Unfortunately, I wouldn't call this a mild stroke anymore, after our having visited him yesterday. His entire Left side is paralyzed (cannot walk or move his arm or leg) and he's a bit "out of it" due to meds. No cell phone, and he may have trouble answering the room phone. Think I'll ask people to send cards, etc. to him c/o me and I can take them to him until he's really ready to have visitors or take a lot of calls. In the meantime, have a great time in Corvalis!

  I was finally contacted by David's brother-in-law....David had a mild stroke a week and a half ago and is at Good Sam. [masked]. Undergoing lots of therapy so may not be in room, but keep trying; he'd love to hear from friends.
