  •  Thanks so much. I'll be out of town next week, but look forward to seeing you all at your next gathering. I'm friends with Dennis T-F and can't wait to connect with others.

  •  I wasn't there but would have liked to have been. I'd like to come some discussions soon. I'm not sure how to connect though. Thanks for the greeting. I'm not too up on the meetup protocol. Thanks for the compliment about my photo.

  •  Steve, Yes I was with that fabulous group of folks to hear Shane and others. I'm still coasting from that evening. I'm not much of a candidate for regular conversations. I'm full-time parish clergy. Wednesday evenings are 'on' times for me. Plus I'm out with congregational matters many other evenings too. If there's a way I can remain in this loop, I'd sure like it.

  •  Thanks for the warm welcome. I have already invited a friend to check this site out.

  •  Hi Steve,

    Thanks for the greeting!

I'm in this area on business during the week and will be returning home during most weekends. I used to live in Huntersville so I know the area. I look forward to joining you guys.

  •  Thanks Steve - I appreciate the note and may just have to come out there and check the group out. Hopefully I can sneak away from work a few minutes early and come out there on the 7th. =)

Let me ask you, after checking out the Monroe Group's website, I don't see where I could contact either of those guys. Would you happen to know how I could get in contact with them or maybe point me to an email addy on there I might have missed?

    Thanks so much,
    Shawn

  •  Hi Steve, I saw your reply on Jonathan Brink's blog and was excited to see someone from my area! I am definitely interested in discussing being the church instead of going to church, interested in a more simple way of gathering with other believers, especially within my own community. Grace and peace, Vicki

  •  thanks Steve for the encouragement on the IAM! you work at a global entity, any artists/musicians,etc. there who would want to promote different cultures?!

  •  Me again- liked your idea about focusing a meeting on women in the church- I think there are plenty of women out there with varying positions...should be interesting! If you'd like to have a meeting at myplace (picnic) as the weather gets better, let me know. I am pretty centrally located now.

  •  Steve- the newmonasticism isn't really operational, so couldn't get any contact information from it. Do you have any available for the closest groups? Thanks. Great seeing you tonight.

  •  Hey, Steve. Wanted to thank you also for what you said about wanting the group to be defined by relationship in response to my observations about the meeting. I agree!
