Hi Dan: Further to my earlier email regarding the choral concert, this piece was written as an oratorio but it is like an opera, that is dramatic, conversational, story telling and nice melodies to match the story. There are 2 chorales that are like Bach's chorale in St. John's passion.
(to the tune of Irving Berlin's Isn't It A Lovely Day)
The weather is fright'ning
The thunder and lightning
Seem to be having their way
But as far as I'm concerned, it's not a lovely day
Anyway, owing to this weather as the song, goes, I might have to cancel my visit to the group's activity this afternoon @ NewWest... Enjoy though!
hey, thanks for the event - it was fun. kristina and i decided to go walking around and check out the beer garden but we weren't able to find you guys after that. we had a good time though.

Hi Dan, got your message. I used my itouch to take pictures. It's new to me. Don't know how to post picture from it to the website yet. Thanks for posting the event info. And it's nice meeting you all.
Hi Dan, went to the Romanian dinner tonight, asked a couple of people at the front naer the bar for Tudo, mentioned meet-ups and this group - no one had a clue what we were talking about... The food smelled wonderful and it looked like it would have been fun... This was my first time joining in. Is there something else we should have done or should have known to do? We left as we felt kinda silly just standing around... Let me know for next time. Thanks, Deb
hope to meet you finally at the "Romanian" party.
looking foward for a good time , thanks Emery
Thanks Dan I look forward to meeting you all. Take care, Deb
Hiya Dan! This is me, Eve. Hana forwarded the contact details of your German friend from the Personnel Placement Employment Agency to me. Thank you so much, that's really, really kind of you! I'm currently working so I haven't had a chance to contact him, yet but we'll see, what time might bring. Again thank you very much for your help and support! Warm regards, Eve
