  • Hi, Laurie. Welcome to the BBKG! We're glad you're here. I look forward to meeting you in person. There's more information on the "Discussions" page.

  • Hi Laurie, I'm an older folkie too but with only 3 years of playing guitar. Jamming every other month is too long in between. Are you interested in jamming every 2-4 weeks? Trying to pull together a group, maybe meet in Hyde Park. Interested ? Regina ([masked])

  • Hi Laurie, just want to make sure you know panera bread is the type of place you can just get a cup of coffee, and maybe bring your own sandwhich. Margaret

  • Dear Laurie,

I'm open to suggestion, and would welcome your thoughts on where, when, ans how best to revive and manage the group. Actually, while we met at Passage to India, I was often the only person who ordered dinner. It was durable as a meeting place as the ower and staff welcomed us regardless, the room fostered conversation, and there was T access as well as free parking. Do you have an alternative in mind?-John

  • Dear Laurie, I see from the occasional emails I get from meetup.com that you're interested in many things. Are you still interested in The Brights? I could be encouraged to try to organize a Meetup again. It's been about three years since I finally let it lapse due to lack of attendance. If you are, let me know, please, and I'll start trying to figure out when and where. We used to meet 2nd Tuesday or Wednesday evenings at Passage to India in Porter Square, if I recall correctly.
