  “ I am playing in the opening band (Rojer Arnold and Paul Elliott). I'm a harp player.
  We 3 are flying up from the Joshua Tree
  area in south Southern California. We will be there for 5 days, playing on Friday and Saturday and Sunday, I think. Don't know a soul in the area, so would appreciate you folks coming up to me after our shtick and saying howdee. I have heard that the area is beautiful and I hope there's good weather. I do hope to meet some bright, interesting blues lovers. ”

  I am trying to decide if I can go to the blues meetup this friday, and I saw your profile. I definitely enjoy RL Burnside, Taj, and Solomon Burke (as well as many others!). I also like rockin blues like The Allman Brothers (don't know if that counts as a bit countrified ;-)
